Fundraising
Appeals with targets, card donations into your own Stripe account, Gift Aid with an HMRC claim list, a fundraiser leaderboard and a donations page.
Online bookings
Live availability, booking requests, the owner's booking link, card deposits and payments, messages and customer records. No fee per booking.
Website
A rehoming website for charities, or a website that sells your rooms for boarding kennels. Kept up to date from KennelStay.
Text messages
Confirmations, reminders, balances and photo updates by text as well as email. 100 texts a month included, then 7p a text.
Kennel layout set up
We design your site plan, blocks and kennels so the planner and kennel board match your buildings from day one. Free for KennelBuild customers, as we already have your drawings. Or set them up yourself at no cost.
Rescue and boarding under one roof? Take any mix of modules. Card payments and donations go through Stripe, which charges its own card fees; KennelStay adds nothing.

KennelBuild designs and builds kennels and catteries. Our engineers can look after yours too. Report a fault in KennelStay and it goes straight to our maintenance team, with your site plan, the kennel and the photos.

Proposed prices, a month before VAT, for a 12 month plan; pay yearly and get one month free. Parts and materials are charged on all plans. Mainland Great Britain; Northern Ireland, the islands and the Highlands by quote. Kennels we did not build join after a first survey, charged as one Annual Check visit. No plan? Engineers are £75 an hour, two hour minimum, plus travel.
Marketplace pricing.
When enough boarding kennels in a region are on KennelStay, owners will be able to search for space across their area.
10% on new customers only.
We only earn when we bring you an owner who has not booked with you before. Owners who book on your own website or booking link cost nothing extra.
Subscription waived.
In any month your marketplace commission is more than your subscription, the subscription is waived.
Questions.
What counts as a kennel?
Each kennel, room or cattery pen you take animals into. Isolation and quarantine kennels are not counted. Family rooms count once, however many dogs share.
Do you take a share of my bookings or donations?
No. You pay a monthly subscription. Card payments and donations go straight into your own Stripe account, and Stripe charges its own card fees. The only commission is on the future marketplace, and only for new customers we find you.
Can I add or drop a module later?
Yes. Modules can be switched on or off as your needs change, and your price changes with them.
We are a charity that also boards dogs. What do we need?
Choose "Both" in the calculator. You get the core once, then any mix of modules.
Will you set up our kennels for us?
Yes, if you would like us to. Setting up your site plan, blocks and kennels is a one off £500, as we design your layout. If KennelBuild built your kennels it is free, because we already have the drawings. Or set them up yourself at no cost.
Why would software come with a maintenance plan?
Because KennelStay comes from KennelBuild, who design, build and refurbish kennels and catteries. Faults your team reports in KennelStay go straight to our engineers with the kennel, the photos and your site plan, so the right parts arrive first time. On every plan, the KennelStay core is half price.
Can I have a maintenance plan if KennelBuild did not build our kennels?
Yes. We start with a survey, charged as one Annual Check visit. We quote for anything that needs putting right first, then your plan starts.
Do I need special equipment?
No. KennelStay runs on any iPad, phone or computer with a web browser. Many kennels put an iPad on the wall of each block.
